  • VALVE CLEARANCE – ADJUST – w/o Valve Adjustment w/Valve Adjustment – [Adjust only if noisy.] BRAKE HOSES & LINES – INSPECT – w/o Valve Adjustment w/Valve Adjustment – [Check the master cylinder and VSA modulator-control unit for damage and leakage.] DRIVESHAFT/PROPELLER SHAFT DUST BOOTS – INSPECT – w/o Valve Adjustment w/Valve Adjustment – [Check boots for cracks and boot bands for tightness.] ENGINE COOLANT – INSPECT – w/o Valve Adjustment w/Valve Adjustment – [Check the coolant level in the coolant reservoir. Make sure it is between the MAX mark and the MIN mark. If the coolant level in the coolant reservoir is at or below the MIN mark, add coolant to bring it up to the MAX mark, then inspect the cooling system for leaks.] EXHAUST SYSTEM – INSPECT – w/o Valve Adjustment w/Valve Adjustment – [Check catalytic converter heat shields, exhaust pipes, and muffler for damage, leaks, and tightness. Check steering linkage. Check boots for damage and leaking grease.
