INITIAL TESTING REVEALS, REMOVAL IF INSTRUMENT CLUSTER IS NEEDED FOR FURTHER CHECKING, BULB IS OUT IN THE CLUSTER FOR MIL. WE FOUND THE BRAKE VACUUM PUMP HAS NO VACUUM, RECOMMEND REMOVE THE VALVE COVER AND PERFORM FURTHER INSPECTION, CHECK TIMING AND ADVISE.
- INSTRUMENT CLUSTER – Remove &AND INSTALL – WE FOUND A PLASTIC TAPE MATERIAL BLOCKING THE MIL LIGHT INDICATOR, REMOVED THE TAPE AND THE WARNING LIGHT ILLUMINATES NORMAL.
- AFTER THE REMOVAL WE FOUND DEFECTIVE CRANKCASE VALVE WERE PLUGGED, THE CAM SHAFT WAS OK. DEFECTIVE BRAKE VACUUM PUMP, PLUGGED UP OIL PORT. RECOMMEND REPLACE THE VACUUM PUMP AND RECHECK. WE FOUND ENGINE TIMING WAS OFF, RECOMMEND COMPLETE TEAR DOWN FOR TIMING COMPONENTS.
