- Services performed by ASE certified technician: –Use of hand held scan tools and/or laptop computer programs to access trouble codes causing check engine light –Use of computer diagnostic programs –Use of internet subscription technical sites –Use of up to one hour of ASE certified technician's time to determine the source of the problem causing the trouble code –Most but not all check engine lights or other driveability problems can be determined by the Check Engine Light/Level 1 Diagnostic service –Sometimes additional diagnostics may be required WE FOUND FAULT CODES P0520 ENGINE OIL PRESSURE SENSOR CIRCUIT FAULT, P0118 ENGINE TEMPERATURE SENSOR CIRCUIT HIGH VOLTAGE AND P2172 THROTTLE ACTUATOR SYSTEM HIGH AIR FLOW DETECTED. WE FOUND THE ENGINE OIL FILTER LEAKING OIL BAD (CAUSING LOSS OF OIL) AND THIS CAUSING MALFUNCTION IN THE VALVE TIMING SYSTEM. WE REPLACED OIL FILTER AND BLED AIR FROM THE OIL SYSTEM AND NOW THE ENGINE IS RUNNING. TEST DROVE THREE MILES AND NO FURTHER FAULT CODES HAVE RETURNED. * MONITOR OIL LEVEL * **NOTE: VACUUM PUMP IS LEAKING ENGINE OIL**
